200hr teacher training:

find your voice and become the
yoga teacher you’ve dreamed of.

Do you want to advance your personal yoga practice, learn more about yourself, and share the transformative benefits of yoga with others? Our Yoga Alliance-certified 200 Hour Training Program guides you through the many styles and layers of yoga, including asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy and offers on-going mentorship from established teachers.
Our trainees graduate feeling empowered with the knowledge, confidence, and self-understanding to deepen their own practice, discover their voice, and share yoga with others.

why study at TPY?

Learn to Truly Teach

Our training isn’t about memorizing or reciting a script. Instead, you’ll learn the anatomical principles and refine your teaching voice so you can create and lead classes that are physically safe and authentic to your personality.

Advanced Study

In our teacher training you’ll explore various styles of yoga and aspects of yoga philosophy – like the sutras and chakras – that are not typically covered in a foundational 200HR training.

Mentorship + Feedback

We put theory into action! In our training, you will practice-teach every weekend throughout your nine months and receive feedback from lead teachers and peers. You’ll be comfortable standing in front of the room long before you graduate. The support doesn’t stop after graduation, either. We’ll pair you with an established instructor at the studio to lean on throughout your entire yoga career.

Yoga Alliance Certified

Our curriculum is Yoga Alliance certified, meaning graduates qualify to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) following graduation. This certification gives you access to special discounts, events, and teaching opportunities in your yoga career.
